Draft Structure of the Executive Council of QAU Alumni Association for the Forthcoming Elections

The Executive Council of QAU Alumni Association shall comprise of the cabinet and elected executive members. The distribution of seats is given below:

  • Only registered alumni can contest for elections. For registration visit http://elections.qau.edu.pk/

  • The eligibility condition for President, Vice President and General Secretary is minimum 25 years of graduation from Quaid-i-Azam University.
  • The eligibility condition for Joint Secretary, Finance Secretary and Media Secretary is minimum 20 years of graduation from Quaid-i-Azam University.
  • The eligibility condition for Executive members is minimum 15 years of graduation from Quaid-i-Azam University.
  • The eligibility condition for Young Executive members is minimum 10 years of graduation from Quaid-i-Azam University.
  • For eligibility the passing year of first degree from QAU will be considered,
  • One seat of Vice President, 3 seats of executive members and 2 seats of young executive members are reserved for female graduates. In addition to reserved seats, the female graduate can also contest on open seats.
  • All registered alumni are eligible to cast votes on all seats including seats reserved for female candidates.
  • The registration date is extended till December 15, 2023.
  • Dates of receiving nominations and other details regarding elections will be announced soon.
